How we bid a floor.
Floor care by the building has no honest list price. These are the questions that set the number, and when you'll get it.
What decides the bid
Square feet of floor, and how much of it is open or racked
The floor itself: sealed, epoxy, bare concrete or tile
How soiled it is, and with what: dust, grit, oil
How many shifts a week, and which ones
Forklift traffic, lanes that stay in use, and the badge and gate rules
What the bid includes, and what it doesn't
It includes the machines, the crew, the supervisor, the supplies and the insurance. It leaves out repairs, coatings, anything above reach and work inside guarding, and it says so in writing.
What happens at the site walk
Pascal walks the floor with your lead, checks the water, power and dump points, and takes photographs of the floor. There is no charge for the walk, and nothing is promised until the bid is written.
Nights and weekends
Crews work when you're not. The shift you pick is priced into the bid, and the supervisor is on site for it. Calls after the office closes go to the night supervisor.
When you get the number
In writing, with the safety packet attached, after the walk. It's a fixed price per shift for the scope in the bid, and it changes only if the scope does.
If the scope changes
Tell us, or we tell you. A change is priced and agreed in writing before the crew does it.
No price is shown here, because it would be a guess.
Two ways to buy
A bid after a walk, or a number over the phone.

Send the request. Pascal will reply by the next business day to set a time.
